Giving thanks & gratitude should be a daily event at the very least and many times daily is even better. How can you not give thanks when you live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. So here is the first public gratitude for this year's Tahoe Community Thanksgiving Celebration.

We have been determining the "admission" price for entry into the Celebration and one of the options will be TA DA a new, unwrapped toy which will then be donated to our LOCAL!! Toys for Tots campaign. Our California TOT rep is Elaine Durazo who is the US Marine Toys for Tots Tahoe-Truckee Coordinator, 530 583-5581, or 800 308-2463. Call her if you have any TOT questions. But we thank Elaine and the US Marine Toys for Tots for giving great Christmas's to local area kids & teens.
Then in conjunction with Tahoe Community Thanksgiving Celebration we have the North Tahoe Family Resource Center stepping up to assist with organizing the monetary donations. Thank you so much NTFRC. More said about this later too. See more about them at: http://www.northtahoefrc.org/
Then we have (and they should come first in all things) is the North Tahoe Event Center our amazing community is so blessed to have this great meeting place run by fabulous people with hearts as big as the whole outdoors.
